DIC Asset AG: Changes in the Management Board

– CEO Aydin Karaduman also to assume the role of COO

– COO Rainer Pillmayer to leave the company

– CIO Johannes von Mutius placed in charge of acquisitions and dispositions

DIC Asset AG has restructured its management board, reducing the number of board members from four to three. Rainer Pillmayer, the COO of DIC Asset AG, will leave the company by mutual consent at the end of his contractual term on 31 May 2016. In the future, Aydin Karaduman, the CEO of DIC Asset AG, will take on the role of COO in addition to his responsibility for the corporate strategy, and thus be in charge of fund, asset and property management. Sonja Wärntges (CFO) will remain in charge of Finance & Controlling while Johannes von Mutius, so far responsible for the Sales division, will also pool and manage the buying and selling activities in the Investment division in the role of CIO. The move is intended to align the management board with the new growth strategy of DIC Asset AG.

Rainer Pillmayer has been with DIC Asset AG since 2008, and has served on the board as COO since June 2013. Pillmayer’s spheres of responsibility included the fund business which has expanded to more than one billion euros in assets under management today. “We would like to thank Rainer Pillmayer for the great collaboration over many years and for his successful job on the board of DIC”, said Prof. Gerhard Schmidt, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of DIC Asset AG.
